Woven Nantucket basket bracelets with mammoth ivory and scrimshaw, by Brian Kiracofe
Each Nantucket basket bracelet is woven in the style of the island's famous lightship baskets and finished with mammoth ivory end caps. Many designs feature a centerpiece of hand-engraved scrimshaw on mammoth ivory, set in sterling silver, by resident artist Brian Kiracofe.
Choose from bangles and cuffs in single, double, and triple bands, as well as a leather bangle. Scrimshaw centerpieces include tall ships, the C.W. Morgan, whaling scenes, Castle Hill and Rose Island lighthouses, a whale, an anchor, and a compass rose, or select a carved shell or plain band.
