This mammoth ivory clarinet key pendant joins a long, tapered drop of mammoth ivory to a repurposed clarinet key set with a moonstone. A small sapphire is inset near the top of the ivory. It is an original design by carver Tom Watson.
Watson gives old materials new life. The silver clarinet key becomes the pendant's bail and setting, while the mammoth ivory shows natural streaks of cream and brown along its length. The result is part jewelry, part found-object art, and fully one-of-a-kind.
