This Damascus scrimshaw karambit has the curved, claw-shaped blade and finger ring of the traditional karambit, hand forged in Pakistan from patterned Damascus steel. The handle combines genuine ox bone and dark water buffalo horn, divided by brass spacers.
The ox bone panel carries authentic scrimshaw by resident artist Brian Kiracofe: a Newport harbor scene with a lighthouse, sailboats, and the bridge in the distance. A leather sheath is included for safe carry and storage, making this a distinctive piece for knife collectors.
