Product Description
A wooden keepsake box with a polymer scrimshaw lid of the USS Constitution
This polymer scrimshaw box pairs a warm-toned wooden base with a flat ivory-colored lid engraved with the U.S. Frigate Constitution under full sail. The ship rides a banner inscribed with her name, framed in a classic oval border.
The lid is made from polymer, a modern ivory alternative that takes fine scrimshaw line work and ink just as traditional materials do. The engraving shows every sail and line of "Old Ironsides," the most famous ship in American naval history. Lift the lid and the box holds cufflinks, watches, keys, or small keepsakes.
