Product Description
Hand-carved tagua nut cats and dogs with lifelike detail
This cat and dog tagua nut carving is a small, lifelike pet figure carved from a single tagua nut. Choose from five dogs, including a sitting pup, a pug-faced dog, and long-coated breeds, or four cats, from a sleek seated cat to a fluffy long-haired one.
Tagua is the nut of a South American palm, often called vegetable ivory because it looks, feels, and carves much like ivory. Each figure is carved from a single nut by a master carver in Bali, so every piece varies slightly and carries the marks of the hand that made it.
