Product Description
An elephant carved from antler, standing on a rocky perch
This antler elephant carving shows an elephant standing on a carved rock, its trunk curled and its wrinkled skin rendered with fine lines. The natural tones of the antler give it gentle shading, and it rests on a dark wood base.
The carving comes from master carvers in a remote Indonesian village who work with antler and mammoth ivory brought by Scrimshanders. Elephants are symbols of wisdom and good fortune, making this a meaningful small gift.
