Cast Iron Sitting Mermaid Doorstop

A cast iron mermaid seated with her tail curled at her side

This cast iron sitting mermaid doorstop shows a mermaid resting with one hand raised to her long, flowing hair and her scaled tail curled beside her. The weight of solid cast iron keeps a door firmly in place.

Mermaids have long been part of sailors' lore and the figureheads of their ships. This one brings that tradition into the home, with a rustic bronze-brown finish that looks at home on a porch, in a garden, or on a bookshelf when it is not holding a door.
