Product Description
A 4-inch marquetry box with a rolling wave inlay and a hidden opening
This Heartwood wave marquetry secret box is a small hardwood box topped with a rolling wave, inlaid in light and dark woods with a tiny turquoise dot. The lid has no visible hinge or latch; it opens by a hidden sliding action that becomes a small puzzle for whoever holds it.
Heartwood makes its boxes from natural hardwoods, cut and fitted so the grain flows across the piece. The wave pattern brings a coastal feel to a desk or dresser, and the compact size holds rings, keys, notes, or a small gift.
